Tickets: The ticket office is open from 8:30 a.m.-noon and 1:30-4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, and 8:30 a.m.-noon Friday. The office is located at the city schools' office on Williams Street, south of the stadium. Chair seats in sections C and E are $8, with the remaining tickets at $7. All tickets at the gate are $8. Gates open at 6:30 p.m. Friday. Student tickets may be purchased at Valdosta High, Valdosta Middle and J.L. Newbern Middle for $4.

Valdosta Wins Season Opener 28-7

VALDOSTA - The Wildcats won their 2004 season opening game by the score of 28-7 over the Shiloh Generals of Snellville. Sophomore running back Demetrius James started the scoring with a 10-yard touchdown run late in the first quarter. Senior running back Jamal Scott then scored 2 straight touchdowns on short runs (4 and 3 yards, respectively) in the 2nd quarter while James rounded out the scoring with a run in the 4th.
